Utah First Federal Credit Union has been presented with the Crystal Performance Award by the Raddon Financial Group. Utah First Federal Credit Union is the only credit union in Utah to receive this honor since the great recession and one of three Utah Credit Unions to ever receive this distinction.
The Crystal Performance Award recognizes credit unions for achieving a top 10 ranking based on a balanced scorecard measurement of growth, income, efficiency and margin management. To be eligible for the Crystal Performance Award, a credit union must rank in the top 2-3% of all credit unions for at least two consecutive years. More than 500 credit unions were evaluated for the Crystal Performance Award. The evaluation involved an analysis of the credit union’s financials, sales, products and member household relationships.
According to Utah First Federal Credit Union President/CEO Darin B. Moody, “Beginning in 1935, we established a Credit Union on the principle of putting members first. We are honored the financial strength we have built on that model is being recognized. This reaffirms our position as one of Utah’s leading financial institutions.”
