All credit unions are created equal, right? It’s easy to fall into the trap that all financial institutions are alike—safe places to store and borrow money without any real substantive differences. But pay attention to the little details, and you’ll find that some credit unions go the extra mile for their members. Through their financial investments and friendly interactions, some credit unions stand out from the crowd to offer a better banking experience. In other words, the proof is in the profits and the people.
Utah First is pleased to announce that for an unprecedented 8th straight year, we have been named one of the top 10 credit unions in the country, receiving the prestigious Crystal Performance Award, presented by Raddon Financial Group. It’s a recognition that speaks to our approach of putting people first and letting profits follow. As it turns out, it’s a pattern for sustained success and one that the industry can’t ignore.
The Crystal Performance Award recognizes the top 10 outstanding credit unions in the country, based on internal financial factors such as growth, income, efficiency, and margin management. Raddon Financial evaluated more than 500 credit unions across the country before finalizing its list of the top 10 credit unions, representing the top 2 or 3 percent of all credit unions analyzed.
At Utah First, we understand better than most that the fruits of our labors are not financial alone. In finalizing its list of the top 10 credit unions, Raddon also considered external factors like sales and relationships with members. That means, as a member-owned credit union, this award belongs to all of you. We all work together to make Utah First one of the premier credit unions in the entire country.
As a credit union, we are honored to receive this award. It’s a national recognition that sets us apart from a crowd of credit unions, but ultimately speaks to what we already know—we succeed when you succeed. We couldn’t be prouder to be part of Utah First and your financial success.
