Utah First’s Crystal Award and Why it Matters to You

For the third year in a row, Utah First Credit Union has earned the distinguished Crystal Performance Award, an honor given by the Raddon Financial Groups to the top 10 credit unions in the country. Utah First is one of only a few credit unions in the state to ever earn this distinction, and to be recognized in three consecutive years is unprecedented in Utah.

The Crystal Performance Award seeks to recognize outstanding credit unions based on a scorecard ranking, which factors growth, income, efficiency, and margin of management. It also takes into account a credit union’s financials, sales, products, and member household relationships. To be eligible for the award, credit unions must rank in the top 2 to 3 percent of all credit unions for at least two consecutive years.

Founded on the core principle of putting its members first, Utah First has built its financial strength on a model of open communication, and a commitment to service and teamwork. Because of this, Utah First has earned a reputation of loyalty and trust among its members in the community that is second to none.
