Utah First Credit Union Wins 7th Straight Crystal Performance Award

As a credit union that’s hyper focused on the people and community we love (our name says it all), we’ve always known that we’re a little different. We take pride in helping people, and the results usually follow. It’s a different approach in the financial world, but it’s one that’s always worked well for us. And, as it turns out, it’s an approach that the industry loves to recognize.

For the seventh consecutive year, Utah First Credit Union has been named one of the top 10 credit unions in the country, receiving the prestigious Crystal Performance Award, presented by Raddon Financial Group. Utah First is the only credit union in the entire state of Utah to earn this esteemed recognition more than once, let alone seven straight years.

As you may remember from years past, the Crystal Performance Award recognizes the top 10 outstanding credit unions across the country, based on internal factors such as growth, income, and efficiency, as well as external factors like sales and relationships with members. Raddon Financial evaluated more than 500 credit unions across the country before finalizing its list of the top 10 credit unions, representing the top 2 or 3 percent of all credit unions analyzed.

“It’s an honor that’s incredibly validating for our team,” said Utah First CEO Darin Moody. “It represents many hours of hard work and an unwavering commitment to our mission and purpose. It’s also an honor that we share with all of you.
