Every kid needs a comfortable pair of shoes in good condition to wear throughout the school day. Warm, well-fitted shoes prevent injury and illness and keep the focus on learning and playing. But the sad reality is that many families just can’t afford a replacement pair every time their kids’ shoes wear out, which can detract from school and childhood experiences like running wild outdoors and playing in the snow during Utah’s chilly winters.
At Utah First Credit Union, we’ve made it an annual holiday goal to help keep kids comfy and warm, one shoe at a time, through the Warm the Soles program. This heartwarming annual tradition brings together members, neighboring businesses, and the broader community to make a meaningful impact across the Wasatch Front. We partner with nearby elementary schools to identify children needing new or warmer shoes and collect donations to buy them new ones.
This is where you come in to help us lace up some love for little ones!
Big things come in small shoe boxes, and this holiday season, we can change the lives of Utah kids with just a small donation from you. With your support, we can purchase new, unused shoes that will keep local kids warm, dry, and ready to take on the world. We’re counting on your generosity to keep the tradition alive and expand our reach.
Donations of any size are welcome. Here’s how your contribution can make a difference:
We ensure that 100% of donations go toward shoes for Utah kids. How many children will you help out? Let’s keep those little toes toasty together.
